Pour Painting

I started pour painting during the Covid-19 Stay at Home order. It quickly became my mental health activity of choice. I had to learn how to let go of control because I never knew how the paintings were going to turn out. I choose the color and I change up the techniques and each one turns out completely unique— I couldn’t repeat one even if I wanted to do so. Early in 2021 I discovered the idea of 3D pouring and I have become obsessed. From a simple plastic mask to bricks to tiles and light fixtures, I want to pour on everything and anything.
